DevOps Engineer - 6 months Contract - Hybrid (London) - Inside IR35

My client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, and Scripting for automated pipeline testing.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (Extension Scope)
• Day Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
• Start Date: ASAP (Looking to Move quickly)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support scalable application deployment in the cloud.
• Configure and manage cloud-based infrastructure and network settings, leveraging CDNs and load balancing for optimal performance.
• Utilize GitHub Actions and AWS to host external services, manage testing environments, and oversee performance benchmarks.
• Write and maintain CLI scripts for automation, testing, and observability metrics.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud service capabilities, streamline deployment processes, and provide support for secure, stable releases.
• Apply process reengineering skills to drive improvements in development workflows.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and Jenkins for automated deployment and testing.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS for cloud management.
• Strong Scripting skills for pipeline testing and automation.
• Familiarity with networking and security configurations, including CDN utilization and load balancing.
• Solid understanding of observability tools and metrics for monitoring infrastructure health.
