Azure Engineer - Legacy Applications - Migration - VM's - Law - Contract

Key skills:

Legacy application (Windows VMs 2003-2016, SQL 2003-2016, Legacy SAN, out of support application software version) migration experience

Detailed assessment of applications with limited documentation

Support the architecture team with target workload design in Azure

Problem solver - eg writing scripts to find information faster because client doesn't have the correct tooling or monitoring set up

Infrastructure as code deployment using Terraform in Azure

Migration of VMs into Azure

Understanding of BCDR architecture and capabilities in Azure, can set up ASR and file replication between AZs and regions

Adheres to governance - ITSM, coding and peer review best practice
