SQL Engineer - Legacy SQL Migration - Azure - Terraform - SQL Databases - SSIS - SSRS - Contract

Key skills:

Legacy SQL (2003-2016) migration experience

Legacy SQL upgrade experience - knowledge of compatibility issues and how to resolve them

Detailed assessment of the data tier for each application with limited documentation

Problem solver - eg writing scripts to find information faster because client doesn't have the correct tooling or monitoring set up

Infrastructure as code deployment using Terraform in Azure

Migration of SQL DBs, clusters (incl. SSIS, SSRS) into Azure

Understanding of BCDR architecture and capabilities in Azure, can set up logshipping and any other relevant SQL replication between AZs and regions

Adheres to governance - ITSM, coding and peer review best practice

SQL Engineer - Legacy SQL Migration - Azure - Terraform - SQL Databases - SSIS - SSRS - Contract
